Emily Young
Pilates Instructor
Emily is a born-and-raised Cincinnatian who was lucky enough to spend seven wonderful years living in New York City, where she built a career in fashion.
During the COVID lockdown, she began looking for new, apartment-friendly ways to move and discovered Pilates. She was immediately hooked. She loved the connection between breath and movement, the strength she felt, and, most of all, the way Pilates helped her feel more connected to her body.
While she loved her career in fashion, Emily found herself searching for something that felt more meaningful, something that combined her passion for movement with her desire to help others. That search ultimately led her to complete a comprehensive Pilates training program in New York City, and everything began to fall into place.
Emily has been teaching Pilates since 2024 and genuinely looks forward to every class she gets to teach. For her, the most rewarding part is building relationships with her clients and watching them grow in their practice, gain confidence, and discover their own joy in movement.
When she’s not teaching, you’ll most likely find Emily outside. She loves hiking, running, and taking on Cincinnati’s Flying Pig each year. She feels especially lucky to still have a close-knit group of childhood friends in Cincinnati and loves spending her weekends with them. She’s also a farmers market and coffee enthusiast, is always on the hunt for new local shops and businesses to support, and, come football season, you can count on her spending Sundays cheering on Joe Burrow and the Bengals. Who Dey!
